2009 Films - Full Program Coming Soon!

The Taos Mountainfilm Festival will be proudly will be hosting the US Premier of Mt. Saint Elias, The Longest Ski Descent Ever, an amazing 18,000 feet of skiing; yes, eighteen thousand feet of vertical!

As well as the Festival Premier of Big Up Production's Progression, definitely one of the most anticipated climbing films ever.

We will also be premiering Taos Ski Valley local Andrea Heckman's wonderful film Mountain Sanctuary. A wonderful film ode to the Hotel Saint Bernard and the experience and history of the Ski Week.

Women and the Waves, a must see history of women in surf, by Heather Hudson and Graciegirl/Swell Pictures Production.

Addicted to Plastic, a quite shocking look at our true addiction to one of the most destructive and unfortunately durable materials ever made. But there are solutions in the future that are quite exciting and amazingly simple, some that you can even eat. A film by Ian Connacher and Cryptic Moth Productions.

Bidder 70, simply one of the greatest environmental protests to be presented thus far. Also meet the man behind it, Tim DeChristopher.

New tele-mark film, Harmless, from Canadian filmmaker Stephane Reindeau.

Colorado's newest exciting and young skifilm maker Nick Waggoner has a brand new film, Signatures. Nick's first film, Handcut, won for best Adventure Sport Film at our festival last year, and this year he has ventured to Japan.
