Liz describes herself as a traveler disguised as a mild-mannered receptionist. Her most recent trip was inspired by the journey of Ella Maillart who traveled through Central Asia in 1932. Liz will present a slide show of her adventure's in Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, about which she has written a book.

MUSTANG

This short preview of a full project follows a journey into this remote, rugged, and roadless Kingdom nestled between Nepal and Tibet. Mustang has been a cross roads for eastern trade for centuries. MOUNTAIN SANCTUARY

The St. Bernard Hotel is an icon of Taos Ski Valley. It is still run by the man who built it in 1960: Jean Mayer. Widely recognized as the godfather of the valley Jean has done more than anyone to establish Taos' reputation as a first class destination for both skiing and cuisine. BEYOND MIDNIGHT: THE GRAND TRAVERSE
